VSGC AWARDS
The Vermont Space Grant Consortium is an organization involving Our Affiliates .  Funded in part by a grant from NASA's National Space Grant  College and Fellowship Program, key goals of the Consortium are to build research infrastructure within the state, encourage Vermont students to take more mathematics and science, and promote consideration of careers in aerospace-related areas .

STRATEGIC PLAN AND GOALS:
●   Promote links between Vermont colleges and universities and NASA Field Centers and Mission Directorates.

●  Fund competitive proposals from faculty mentors for Graduate Research Fellowships to support graduate students
who are involved in research projects in areas of interest to NASA. In addition to training the next generation of
scientists and engineers, the research component of these fellowships should have the potential to increase
    Vermont's research infrastructure.

PUBLIC OUTREACH
●    Fund competitive proposals from affiliates and other Vermont organizations for science communication projects.
